I recently found out that Jessica and Hayden got some sad news this weekend from the Hewlett family. Hayden's cousin Kaleo Winn Hewlett was recently killed in a car accident in Georgia this past Saturday (August 16th, 2008)
While he was attending a friends temple wedding in Georgia along with some other friends. You can read more about him and the accident on the Hewlett Blog or here. This blog is an account of what happened from the driver's (his friend) point of view. He was so spiritual talking about the loss of his friend, it made me cry. But he was right about everything. A young 22 year old returned missionary who, as written in his friend's blog was teaching the gospel to a women on the plane on the way to the wedding, who had also picked up a few pass along cards from the temple to pass out. Sounded like a very wonderful person, who is probably busy doing the same work he obviously loves on the other side of the veil with his Grandfather.
It got me thinking about how fortunate our "tight knit" family is and how thankful I am for each and every one of you! Family is important- and the memories we make (reunion :0) are important, every memory made- stays alive in our hearts and are cherished forever! I am thankful everyone is healthy and strong ad that we are always there for eachother. Grandma and Grandpa we love hearing of all your little "moments" on the blog and I invite the rest of you to share all your little moments so we can continue these "special memories!"
